Hey all,
I recently purchased the Max CN 565S (Based on you alls recommendation!) Now I am trying to find a nail supplier. My local box doesn’t carry them and All I found on the net were not specific enough for me to be comfortable making the buy. Any recommended suppliers? I’ll be hanging hardiboard (and maybe some hardiplank)
Thanks.
Oh yea, the one who recommended the drywall shopvac was right on time. It does not let any dust through! Great for DW work.

I would go to your local staple and nail fastener shop and they will usually provide you with what you need.
Most shop vacs will suck up drywall dust providing you install a drywall dust bag in the can. There is normally two types of bags for shop vacs the problem is that most people don't even know a bag is required.
Without the bag the cartridge filter in the center of thre vac will plug full of dust, then every time you start it the dust will fill the room.

That's the siding nailer right? Someone here can confirm it but it should take the same nails as the hitachi and makita AN611 siding nailers. Nationally you can get them at abcsupply.com, or locally any siding supply house will have them. The siding nailers all take 15 degree coils. Anything exposed like a deck or ext trim I would get the plastic coils, then you don't worry about the little barbs of wire. If your blind nailing hardie than the galv wires are fine.
You can also look for a maze nail rep, but around my area the maze nails were very very expensive and other brands for a given quality were much less.
Also, any good lumber yard should stock siding nail coils, if not they'll get them in a day or two from their suppliers. If the max runs the same nails as the hitachi and makita, I would just ask for nails for a hitachi siding nailer, many don't know who max is and that could cause confusion.
Also, fill in your profile for location, someone in your area might have a good source. If I knew if you were in my area I could give you a dozen right now.
Here's max's website. Yes those are the same nails as the hitachi, makita, bostitch (I think), etc. http://www.maxusacorp.com/

Yup. I have the same gun, and nails from 3 makers. Hitachi, Max, and Bostitch...they all work.

I thought they all were the same. I think there are a few weird guns out there, I think hitachi makes one that they call a pallet nailer that looks just like the sider but takes a little different of a nail. I just didn't want to give him bad info and end of with a useless box of nails, if they were SS that would hurt.
Thank you Gentlemen. I'll be on it like a Hobo on a ham "sammich"!

I have gotten nails from Amazon and from nailzone.com, no problems either way.
I order mine online from Maze Nails.
