I have been working with a client on a house design and yesterday we discussed exterior finishes, which included brick/stone veneer front elevation and vinyl for the balance.
He then asked if I had seen the bricks that were dry stacked and each nailed to the exterior sheathing. He described a vertical nailing lip on the top of the brick and a small lip on the front bottom edge that locked over the brick in the course below. Much like installing shingles.
He had no brand name, but said he had seen them on a house under construction in the Carolinas.
I have not read about or seen such a product……Can someone help me with a brand name or other information?
Thanks…………Iron Helix
