I am considering the use of natural granite slabs to surroun my jaccusi style bath. They are aprox 2′ * 2′ * 1.25″ and vary slightly in thickness.
question –will they be a problen to clean or stain over time? should i use some kind of sealer?? also should they cause any cracking of the tub lip (fiberglass tub) wher the tub rests oround the edges.
Any help will be much apreciated

Michael, as big as these are, they are still called tiles. Because of the mineral composition of granite they should not be suceptable to staining in normal use of the shower bath. Ferrouus metal rust will stain so don't leave your razor laying in a puddle of water for long.
As for cracking your jacuzzi tub, no they won't cause your tub to crack. If the tub cracks the fault is with the tub, pure and simple.
