I have a new tub that is an “air bath” tub- it has a hair dryer like blower that blows air into the tub.
The tub access door, to the blower , is in a well vented closet/room, and I need an air vent to put in either the wall, or the access door itself to let air for the air blower to get in.
Ideally it would be a self closing vent like a dryer vent but but need to be an intake vent, a dryer vent is a self closing exhaust vent.
Any ideas on a source? the reason I want it self closing, even if just a simple rubber flapper, is that 1/2 of the tub is below floor level and its insulated but still gets colder than the house.
Thanks

Check your hvac supplier. We actually put a dryer vent on the inside of a wall where it wasnt visible and a little grill on the visible side in one similar app.
There is also a internal vent that goes in ducting that slips together for passing through a wall that has a sort of flimsy plastic diaphram that is attached in the center with radius slices allowing it to open in one direction with air pressure and then flaps back shut when pressure ends. Looking at the diaphram, however, it looked like it might have a tendency to curl without back pressure forcing it shut all the way.
I think Genco (?) was the suppier I went through, but I'm sure there are other options out there....
