I’m looking to install a simple garden hose bib to an exterior wall, BUT the catch is, I want it to mix hot & cold from in the basement, and prevent backflow or mixing inside, basically, I want only the standard type frost-proof silcock on exterior wall, and a little (settable?) mixing valve in the basement to mix hot & cold, and exit in one 1/2″ pipe out – but I don’t want that inside valve to be able to keep back-mixing into the house supplies if that makes sense. I want to use this hose bib with/for a simple exterior shower, does not need to be too precise on temp…
