I’m looking to buy some Accuride 18-in. full-extension drawer slides, and wonder if any of you folks know of a good, cheap, online seller?
Thanks,
Andy

Andy,
Don't know about cheap but Rockler has them.

*Andy, find some stationary with FHB letterhead and write 'em a letter. Tell them you are doing an article & need some sample product. :) Wouldn't a Luddite make his own slides from wood he had hewn in the forest? Joe H
*Joe, I can't do that. And if I could, I'd be writing Caterpillar for a sample D-4, not some measly drawer slides. And, perhaps, I should call myself a Lazy Luddite, 'cause making my own drawer slides is just too much bother.Andy
*If you try here you can probably find a supplier; limit the search to "functional hardware", subcategory "drawer slides". Most of the suppliers have websites now.
*Andy, I do it all the time. I just printed up a new batch of FHB stationary last night.
*Accuride? I find Blum full extension slides a better product. At cabinet making school everybody's product was there. Accuride is okay but for heavy loads Blum has a more solid feel. Try a distributor near their plant for rock bottom prices. They beat my local wholesaler by thirty percent. Blum has a jig that even beginners can master. Hope this helps.
*I don't normally use Accuride, but I do have one seller bookmarked. I'm doubtful that the seller, Cabinetparts.com, has the lowest prices, though, as their prices for KV slides are a few dollars per slide higher than what I pay at WoodWorker's Hardware. Woodworkers Hardware is where I normally get slides when buying in bulk. WWhardware's website is somewhat new and somwhat primative, but the catalogue (800-383-0130) has decent cabinet parts at pretty good prices.
