I promised my sister that I would trim out her dining room as an Xmas present. I’m in central Jersey, and I don’t like the idea of driving 350 miles with crown strapped to the roof.
Can anyone in the Irwin / East Pittsburgh area recommend a supplier of moldings? I tried Woodfinder.com, but it failed miserably (it even failed for finding my local suppliers when I put in my zip code). Basically, where do you trim carps in this area go to get your moldings?

post or e-mail Jeff Buck.
He lives in Pittsburgh and does finish carpentry.
The only problem is that his home computer is fried, and he's too cheap to buy a new one. ( he says he's too busy , LOL). So he has to check his e-mails at the local library.
Maybe someone has his phone # ?
Gunner does, call him.

I'm in the south suburbs of Pittsburgh. I use Brookside Lumber. If you need something special, you could try West Elizabeth Lumber on Rte. 51. Both of these are a bit of a ride from Irwin, though.

You still wanna part with that gizmo for siding? No rush, just asking.

Indeed I do. I have a Malco FC shear attachment (TFSC)-- the type you attach to a drill. Never used & still in the blisterpack. I also have one set of Malco installation guages (facing guage and overlap guage) and two extra facing guages (the silver ones.) $100 gets the whole deal. (Drill not included.) What, you planning to hang siding in December just for kicks?

Go for it man! I have that very setup and it works like a dream. I also use the shears on hardibacker when I tile.
Yeah buddy..I have the DW diamond blade, but I think I can do better with his deal.

Thanks. I've got my brother-in-law chasing down another lead for me, but if he goes as fast as he installs crown, it will be six years before I hear from him.Recommending the use of "Hide Signatures" option under "My Preferences" since 2005
I agree Brookside Lumber, they are on the south central side (I think) Bethal Park as a matter of fact. Great selection of custom stock trim.
Try Irwin Builders Supply, I have used them for drywall but nothing else.
IBS is the place my BIL is checking out. Thanks for the help in any case.Recommending the use of "Hide Signatures" option under "My Preferences" since 2005
Allegheny Millwork is located in the South Side just across the river from the city. They have a huge selection of trim. I think they're even open a half day on Saturday. 412-431-4224.
