I have been buying my nails by the skid from the same local supplier for the past four years and think it is time to find some better deals. I use bostich 2″x.099 thick coat coils and 3 1/4″ x .131 wire sticks for framing. Has anyone found any good online retailers selling nails??

also does anyone know what they have been paying per thousand for nails.
don't know a good online source, but. My old boss in Syracuse was talking to me last wk, his prices have more than doubled in the last yr.
If I could reach him I would ask what he is now paying.
Cell is off, maybe he will call back.
Thanks I am in that same boat this spring prices jumped 30% at one time luckly we got warning and I bought a skid of each but it is time to restock and I don't want to. Would really like to find a cheaper source, I can't remember what I am paying and I am away from home this week but I want to make sure I am not being taken.
200# of FH collated generally lasts me a few years and have not bought any for a few years.
Same with loose nails, only need a 50# box every year of so DIY stuff, always paid about $16 a box or so.
BIG STICKER SHOCK IN May when I needed another box, $44!!!!
With steel prices dropping to 1/2 of what they were 6 months ago, I'd wait until you are getting down to 'real need' before buying another pallet load.
I have my doubts that you are. He always bought by the pallet, actually 2or 3 at a time, 5% over retailers wholesale cost. He is out of town, back next week.
