Need to Repair Chips in Granite-Anyone Use Light Cured Acrylic Material?
My wife fell in love with granite countertops, so we had them installed 2yrs ago. We both cook, and use heavy cookware, so here we are 2yrs later with chips in the surface and edge of the granite. Any of you FHB guys use “light cured acrylic” paste material to repair chips in granite ? (Think of the light the dentist puts on to cure your fillings). Would appreciate opinions on the effectiveness of these products. Want to avoid having to call someone in for an estimate that’s way more than we’d want to pay. Related to this question-is the granite countertop craze here to stay or just a fad? After the performance of our granite counters, my wife would definitely install a different material in the kitchen of our next house. Thanks in advance for your help. Gerry
