Outside of the gates the trucks were unloadin',

The weather was hot, a-nearly 90 degrees.

The man standin' next to me, his head was exploding,

      Dear Piffin!

Can be around -40 degrees on Celsius, but not for a long time.

This winter was very warm around -25.

      With best wishes.

This website is mostly habituated by residential builders, remodelers, and homeowners who do their own work and need advice.
Your work seems more commercial in orientation. We shiver to Fahrenheit degrees in the States, but our Northern neighbors in Canada shiver in Celcius temperatures. I've seen plenty of minus fifty F° at one time or another. Most of us have warm hearts though

          I can attach some photo.

    You're really Grant posing as a Russian aren't you...or your TGNY's wife...right?

You know, not to generalize, but the 29% of people who still support President Bush are the ones who love to pronounce themselves more patriotic than the rest of us. But just saying you're patriotic is like saying you have a big one. If you have to say it, chances are it's not true.

      Dear anybuildz,

      What is it TGNY's?

I and my wife were born in Kazakhstan. Together goed the school, in colledge and University then.

Then we immigrated in Russia because of national conflict in Kazakhstan.

      1. Piffin | Apr 02, 2007 01:10pm | #20

Andy is one of our resident goofballs here. You could say he is far less inhibited than many others.TGNY is another character in this forum who is in the architectural field in New York and who is married to a Russian sweetheart.I have been involved in supporting a mission in Dagastan. If my memory is correct, that is near your homeland?

          Thank you for explanation.

Yes, Dagestan is finded near by Russia, but between my city and Dagestan approximately 2000 kilometers.

This near by Abhaziya and Chechnya.

      2. john7g | Apr 02, 2007 03:38pm | #21

        Dennis,

Waiting for the green card lottery can take a long time.

Look for a large commercial company that may sponsor your green card.  Most residential construction companies are not large enough to warrant sponsoring an emigrants green card.

        Good luck!

        1. user-260542 | Apr 03, 2007 10:14am | #23

          Thanks for your help!!!

          Yes, I try this do.

Everywhere on site such as Monster; Dice; and other are required already authorized for working in US people.

I search for list an organization, which need temporary worker (on visa H1).

I want before Green Card to look America. I never was in US. I well know the China.

I can pay all expenseses for this visa by itself.

On tourist visa not possible real to value the life in US.

          1. john7g | Apr 03, 2007 02:02pm | #25

            >Everywhere on site such as Monster; Dice; and other are required already authorized for working in US people.<

So what I am thinking is for you to appeal directly to the large companies as opposed to using the search agents (Monster, Dice, etc.). They all have web sites and possibly an address to send a resume.  If you impress them enough they may support sponsoring you.  Problem is finding the names of those companies.

You are correct about the tourist visa, all play and no work.  Hard to play for long with no money.

edit to add: You may find help through Russian advocate groups in North America.  A quick Google of 'russian immigrant community' found http://www.russiantoronto.com/english/default.htmYou ought to be able read this next one quite clearly.  I can not.  http://www.russiantoronto.com/
