New Bosch 12″ SCMS, Anyone own one yet??
Im thinking of replacing my Makita LS1013 10″ SCMS with the new Bosch 12″ SCMS with the up front bevel controls.

Yes and I can't come up with any complaints.
Put a call in for RW and Piffen. I think they're owners too.
might just search for SCMS - its been hashed out and I've made some commentary on it before, but the long and short of it is no, I don't have any complaints. Truth be told, that saw has me espousing the virtues of Bosch these days. I'm a convert, singing hallelujia and all that. I think they got a lot of things right design wise, and it works like a champ. I appreciate the quietness and the fact that the clamp actually works. I became happier still when I pitched the factory blade for one that was not thin kerf. It has improved the stability of things considerably. The initial one had the nasty habit of grabbing small trim and sending it into the stratosphere. Or through the drywall.

Ted: I am a very happy DeWalt 12"slider owner and have just a few "gripes" about mine. From what I have heard about the Bosch those "gripes" have been taken care of. If I were to get a new slider I would probably get the Bosch.
