Hi I’m a Carpenter / Joiner with 17years in construcion ,originally from New Zealand now living in Austrailia and I’ve also worked in Canada .Just keen to get fresh ideas about things .I’m thinking of going back to school to become an Architect/designer .Very interested in post and beam eco friendly housing.

allsorts except typing , I've made everything from bread boards to multi level luxury apartments .I fairly empty at the moment looking at sparking up the drive that got me started in the first place . I don't get much time on this computer either . my passion is working with timber and I think that's my strongest ,milling ,drying ,working it. Also pretty good at genral construction ,concrete ,steel ,drywall, finish work I've covered alot of bases. I'm a forman in a small firm and consult directly with all trades as well as do the bits that get missed
OK. I don't do this for ever new poster, but I'll give you the answer to the insider's question:
What is the proper way to mix cement?(not concrete)
Answer: With a rake and an editor.
Don't expect it to make sense, I've had a headache for days.

Nope. It was taken at an Italian restaurant in Maumee, OH. I don't remember the name of the place, but I'm pretty sure it is not part of a chain.

Still not sure about how to drive this computer. I sent a note to Piffen sort of explaining my stonger points , I've covered all bases as much as I can Mark .I said my strongest point would be in timber ,I love it great stuff made a lot of furniture over the years for clients and myself .I've also worked in construction what seems like forever ,I work as forman in a small new firm doing the bits that get missed ,sorting out the trades etc .I like the lot creating an enviroment for people live in.

Thanks Andy , No wonders of surgery here, gifted all natural and all that. Had a wander through your site the other night looks great . No three hundred year old buildings down here yet. Do any or all the states have a builder license scheme yet ? I'm home in New Zealand at the moment and their about to bring it in here . By the way no kangaroos here either, and I'm not sure why you'd want to tie one down exactly. When I get better with this computer thing I'll get some photos happening
LOL...Hey Dubb...My wife Katrina and myself were looking into moving to NZ pretty extensivly but finally gave up after all the rehtoric about being over 55. Too much hassle...so looks like you won't getto see my ugly face anytime soon other than right here...so looking forward to seeing you here more often....and yeh...in the US you need liscenes to get liscenses...lol
