The Makita LS1219L makes precise repetitive cuts and can handle wide and heavy timbers.

Perhaps it will catch someones attention that can help you with advice.

There has been mixed discussion over the saw here recently, though I'm not sure anyone who had an opinion last time actually owned one.
One fault I know of, it does not allow a 45 miter/45 bevel as bought in the store, the fence get's in the way of one of the parts attached to the head.
That said I've looked at it twice, once at JLC and once the other day at a local tool store. My opinion is it's a nice saw with a lot of nice features, the micro adjustment looks nice, the laser is probably useless, and I really like the ability to lock the rails and have the saw head travel instead of the rails moving in/out from the back.
My advice is find a store that has one you can play with and get your hands on it and several others.
That saw could very well be the greatest SCMS ever built..... But I still wouldn't buy it.
I think it can be risky to buy "1st generation" tools. Of course, Hitachi has been building mighty fine MS's for years, but they always used the same basic ideas and engineering. That one seems to be a whole new animal. It often takes a year or two after first run of production to get the bugs worked out of fresh engineering. If they blew past the 45/45 miter/bevel situation... who knows what else they blew past.
With so many great choices of sliders out there, I personally would get something tried and true and maybe try the new Hitachi in a few years once all the problems get fleshed out.
