Greetings,
Looking at my treated deck, I realized that someday it will need to be replaced – maybe with new-fangled composites!
But on that distant day, I want a small truck to pull on site – and extrude continuous lengths of 6″ wide decking material – in just the lengths I need. (Just like the gutter guys.) No waste!
When will it happen?

As soon as you make it happen?
Not such a bad idea by the way...Buic
like this?
Yes! But perhaps a bit more rigid!
Me thinks you could make an awful lot of money if you can make it work.
While you are inventing the deck thingamajig, make one for vinyl siding.
One that would do corners, siding, and trim in one piece.
That would be sweet.
I'm only half as dumb as I look.
Maybe shrink wrap the whole house? ;-)

Me too, thinks it's a real money maker. Just last week I was approached by a friend who is interested buying a tire/ recycling plant and asked the same question. Twelve feet of the composite decking is going for $30.00 plus dollars. There must be a way to produce it cheaper.
