Nice, Mike. I really like the company Logo, too.
Remodeling contractor who once visited the Glass City.
Nice, clean, easy to get around. The website name is a little tough remember though.
I like the logo on the side of truck, why not use it on the website?

The design company (Harborside Design)'s logo was very different before this new marketing campaign. As part of the effort to bring the two companies closer together they sort of combined logos. I like the old Fine Lines logo better too, but you should have seen our old website. It was pretty bad. I'll take the new logo with the new website.

Just enough information to make a customer feel at ease. I liked the bios- they made the company more personal. Sounds like a great company to work for.

Thanks, not that I had much to do with it. I did put in my 2 cents that more pictures, fewer words is good.
They are a good company to work for. We're very busy right now, knock on wood, with more good project coming down the line.
The pictures are really good. They load fast but really show detail. I've been enjoying the milwork/interior section

Thanks. I have a story behind most of the photos. Some of my babies were the mahogany mantel, the mahogany theater, and the blue bunk beds. Also the curved deck and curved Ipe boardwalk. And all the Azek tapered columns. Pretty much all of that house really.
Can you find the secret panel I installed in the mahogany billiard room? It's clearly visible in the photo.
That M mantle really caught my eye. The close up photo is detailed enough to see the grain and texture making me want to feel it on the screen, but it still loadeed fast.I did not notice that hidden panel. Got it off now using bandwidth for another download for work.

The mahogany is actually all African mahogany--Khaya solid stock and Sapele plywood. We went through over 80 sheets of plywood in the basement (billiard + theater) alone.
The mantel was interesting. I made the cove on a tablesaw. The shelf is laminated from three pcs of 5/4. I didn't like the curved corners but that's what the owner wanted. It looks like a VW bumper to me.
The pilasters the mantel dies into has my patented quirk-and-bead hidden corner joint. OK, I didn't patent it, but it is a neat way to hide the joint on a hollow column.
I don't know how the website guys got the pictures to load so fast. I'm on broadband so they load fast anyway, but the whole site seems to load really fast. Same on dialup?
Yes, my hat's off to the web designers, the photographers, and you guys who provided something to take pictures of. There is one of an exterior cornerboard at roof cornice return that is perfect proportionally, a question that comes up here at BT occasionally

Thanks guys.
Any constructive criticism? The office wants feedback.
Very nice site. Easy to navigate, fast loading pictures, concise text, and nice looking work. You guys hit a home run. But who is the axe murderer on the ladder ;-)
