One of the women I work with has one. I think it feels clumsy, but I only swing wood handles. She Loves it for stripping forms, but little else
I think it's a piece of junk! It's like swinging an off balanced "C" instead of swinging a sweet "T".
Great homeowner hammer but you won't find it hanging on my wall.
Estwings are built for life not for balance. I think they make a great hammer for Concrete form work or Demo Work.

What's with Estwing's "weight forward design" hammer?
They noticed a growing trend in "weight forward designed" carpenters and decided to capitalize on the trend with a new design. The smaller streamlined head makes it much easier to pull out from under protruding love handles. <G>
