A story I heard that I thought others would appreciate.
It seems a Contractor died suddenly at age 40.
Shortly after he appeared at the Pearly Gates to find St. Peter waiting for him along with a great heavenly throng of trumpets and angels celebrating the Contractor’s arrival.
Somewhat surprised but pleased the Contractor asked why all the fuss about him?
St. Peter responded that since the Contractor had lived to 160 and no one else had they thought a great celebration was in order.
The Contractor was enjoying the attention but he did point out: “I didn’t live to be 160. I died when I was 40”.
St. Peter responded: “But that couldn’t be. We added up all your time cards twice.”
