sunday i stop at northern tool supply… i need an axle stub… for my wheel hub for my second access gate… (the first @ 700+ lbs and 14ft wide and 8ft high can be opened or closed with one finger… even one finger from my 5yo) so i’m repeteing the design on the second gate…
I shop for a while buy a few things and my axle stub… (50ft 5/8″ lifetime hose for $9.99 btw) monday morning i go in the bag and NO stub… it was to be my first project of the day… I call the store… talk to someone… give them the time on the ticket… he says he’ll review the tape and give me a call in about 20 min….
15 min later he calls back… asks where i am… he’s going to deliver it to me… seems the girl who checked me out… picked it up … rang it up… and put it on the counter behind her…. since i had 2 bags full i never noticed….
BUT the dude got in his truck and 20min later… he was at my jobsite with my stub…
way to go northern tool…
I’ll be write’n a letter to them to let them know… how rare doing the right thing is… and i’ll remember it

with a gate that moves that easy, you got to share some pics. i use to have a 35' pipe rail gate that work pretty well. it was nothing but a 13" tire and wheel mounted about 3/4 of the way down the length . after about 3 years it started to wear a grove in the blacktop.larry
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
DUCT TAPE.
