In my bathroom I have a kickspace heater under the vanity that is the only heat source for the room. The power for the blower motor comes from the GFI outlet above the counter. Every so often the kickspace causes the GFI to trip. Does this sound like a nuisance trip and I should remove the lead from the GFI line, or does this sound like an issue with the kickspace itself?
TIA

GFI's can go bad. I've replaced a few old ones that would trip occasionally. The replacements do not. Examine all the wiring to make sure it's in good condition and replace the GFI if everything looks good. Of course, this assumes that the GFI is rated to handle the load of the heater.
Insulation degrades with both heat and moisture. It is very possible that the GFI is doing its' job, and that the heater is on the way out.
