I’m considering buying or renting an airless paint sprayer to paint the outside of our house. The house is two stories and would be considered large ( 11 rooms, 3 1/2 baths, approx 3000 sq ft living space).
Any thoughts on buying or renting?
Any evaluations on the best performers?
Looking forward to your responses,

find out what paint youre using. Read the label and find out what the tip size required to spray your primer and paint.
Then choose the sprayer that allows those tip sizes.
If you rent buy a tip or two for that sprayer, dont rely on the rental store tip they will be trashed.
A good sprayer will cost $500 and up to $1000+ depending on model etc. weigh the cost of the rental vs a sprayer. DOnt buy a cheapy novelty sprayer like the wagner homeowner line of gadgets.
Graco and spraytech make good airless rigs. YOur best bet is to find a pro paint store like S-W or local paint only store. They sell rigs and can find one best suited for you.
Yep... I second that.
Head on over to S-W and rent one of their sprayers. It'll look terrible but will do the job just fine.
The key is to make sure your prep work and the majority of your masking is complete. This will save on rental costs.
