I am planing on do a walkin closet based on a system from an article in FHB, in the July 99 issue, written by Gary Katz. Gary used 3/4 MDF for side supports and shelf. One question is with regard to mounting the side supports, Gary wrote that nailing to cleats on the wall and 1 inch bearing on the floor was adequate for support, wondering if anyone has followed the article? I was planning on doing this with 15 gauge finish nailer.
