Kind of an odd question. I have a spa that has a metal framework around it for a screen house. Over time the cloth screening material weathered and is now trash so I’m thinking of fastening fibreglass screen to the framework. The framework is made up of corner frames that hold up a hip style roof framework. There is about 8 ft. between the corners with no vertical support for screening. I could add vertical suport but what I’d rather do is run the screening vertically, overlapping each section and somehow adhere the edges of the overlapping screen sections to each other, eliminating the need for any supports over the span. Anyone know of a good way to adhere the overlapping screen sections? I’ll provide bottom support for the screening so I can fasten it. The idea is to be able to roll up the screen during the off season so it isn’t exposed to the weather (Northeast)
Thanks, George

George,
Sewing machine with zigzag stitching will do it. Glue will work but ugly and stiff when you go to roll it up. Sunlight can destroy the bond, too. I'd overlap it and sew it with a black polyester thread for UV resistance and strength.
