Has anyone had any experience with the effectiveness of the above process in ridding a fire job of the smell?
The owner is very sensitive (asthmatic) to things like this and the question is whether to do battle with the insurance company so as to tear out all the drywall in the house or just ozonate the peripheral areas and hope for the best.

Yes I have used it in the past. However you need to saturate the area and that means no one in the house. I had 2 commercial generators running every night while the house was vacant.( not the little home variety ) running for 2 weeks with succes.
