I have the usual automotive paint guns, Binks Devilbuss etc. however I’m ready to get with the new HVLP guns since I hear they use a lot less paint/varnish to cover the same amount..
I’ve got to cover approximately 30,000 bd.ft. of hard wood (Timber frame and I went over board with fancy wood) I expect I’ll use a pressure pot since I’ll probably be using paint/varnish in 5 gallon cans.
Any suggestions as to who makes a good conversion gun? I have a big compressor with a large 65 gallon tank so air shouldn’t be any problem..

Google for Homestead Finishing, and then contact Jeff Jewitt there.
He sold us an Accuspray 19c gun, whip, extra needle and tip, cleaning kit, and a 2.5 g. pressure pot on casters. Super setup.
You can discuss your needs, and he will recommend the gear. He sells various professional brands of HVLP guns and gear. Has a lot of finish lines, also, mainly waterbornes.
We have sprayed heavy acrylic (Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Waterborne Enamel) on trim and millwork, and oil-based clearcoat on wood trim, both in lineals and in place.
