Painter painted the floors after the sealer was applied. He(the painter) is now chasing Deer so is unavailable. The floor finisher tried to get it up before he put the second coat on. Didnt get all of it. What can I do before the last coat goes on? Is there a good way to get this S*^t up with out it showing up?

is it oil? latex? laquer? what is the finish on the floor? these are pretty pertinent questions that will dictate how you can proceed.
The painter screwd up and needs to be held responsible. No, wait ... the floor finisher applied the second coat before the errant paint was removed ... therefore the floor finisher now owns the problem.
What is your role? Homeowner/client? GC? If you are the client, you need to stop looking for a method to fix the problem, and leave to the responsible party.

Yeah, Eddie but any "finisher" who would A. leave paint where it wasn't s'posed to go OR B. go over said paint with clear - That's not the guy you want coming back to rectify things. It's amazing but all too common to see someone in a trade who's quality standards are lower than most other people's for that very thing! Someone like that will most likely not fully acknowledge the problem, think it's nitpicking, and do a half a$$ed job if you do get them back.
In this case, I think the floor finisher is free from guilt, tho he might have said something about it unless he thought it was known. The painter? sounds like a hack, probably should stick with deerhunting.
Unless there's a huge amt of money/time involved, probably easiest to just sand and refinish and take the lesson. Oh, I could be judging the painter too harshly - maybe he was rushed and just missed the spot - but if he's worthy of his job description he'll pick up the tab when he gets back, no matter what was done to add to the mistake. Just my humble opinion...EDIT : just re read the OP, I guess the floor guy did TRY to get the paint up, but this doesn't change my point about people in the wrong line of work. Eddie, you've got some good questions regarding the poster's role - obviously, somebody needs to be watching more carefully to keep the subs in line ...and I think that the "somebody" is gonna eat this one.
