My sister is a painter, not a house painter, an acrylic and oil on canvas kind of painter.
She does alot of murals and has been asked to do one over a small indoor swimming pool. I went to see the job with her tonight to figure out the scaffolding needed to get her up in the air in the middle of a swimming pool.
She’s trying to figure out what paint to use. The ceiling seems to be green board drywall and now has a layer of flaking paint, probably oil because it left alittle chalk on my hands. I’m sure the old will have to be scraped.
The pool room is humid, has a dehumidifier but it sure wasn’t running tonight.
Any advice on a primer, and paint to use? She says she can paint this ceiling with just about anything because she can add something to thicken whatever she decides to paint with.
