Just got a stack of work orders from one of our HOAs for front door painting. Very ’60s. Dark green S/G. Latex. In fact, same as the door I had on my condo over in Newport Beach. Nice trim. New door is just plain, but lead-lined.
What tips do you have for painting doors attached to the wall?
I am considering removing them for the occasion. A pair of deck screws top and bottom to hang them between sawhorses in the front yard. Flotrol to get the latex to lay down. Pickle roller and back brush? Got trim to get around.

Spray them in place with an HVLP gun set up.
Also there is a device called a door stacker so you can paint and then stack the doors to dry. Runs about $100 for 10 doors.
The problem is that if they are steel doors they should be properly prepared before painting. What I mean is that a steel door should be primed ,regardless of a factory primer ,because that factory primer is too smooth and hard of a finish too just use a finish product on. Once you scuff and prime the new door you can finish in whatever paint you prefer. Latex or oil will do.As for application if you have a good set up an hvlp is the best way, if not role and back brush in a vertical position to minimize and flaws in the finish coat.

Steel doors...
Most of these are +30 yr old wood doors which will have to be done where is.
My replacement door is a steel one and, yes, I noticed that the finish seemed quite hard and smooth. Wondered about tooth. Thought steel wool or bronze wool might do the job. The ToolBear

Narry a one. The existing doors will have to be done in situ.
Have two complete door replacements on the books. See if boss has an HVLAP not mentioned. He has a lot of thing stuffed into his shop.

I don't think you want to remove a stack of doors. What about the pets escaping, theft issues and possible accusations of pilfering etc. Paint in place.
Paint in place ...
I am sure the HO will want to be present. I was when I got my door done. Came at 1600, put on a coat of oil based and told me not to close it for 12 hrs. Thanks!
Pets is a good point. I was wondering about setting up a paint station on the grass and hanging the door between horses. Worth the effort? Perhaps not.The ToolBear

Might be worth it if it really saves any time. You may find it only makes things easier, but not faster. Definately would be nice to set up under cover, out of the sun.
