Hello everyone. What is the best way to paint white vinyl frame windows for the exterior? I take it you should sand with 220 and prime with an oil base but I am not sure. Thank you.

John - better check with the manufacturer. Many companies will void all warentees if you paint their vinal. Due to the very low melting point of many vinals, you could cause structural problems. It is as true in windows as siding - when it comes to color, "vinal is final". This is my chief complaint with modern vinal windows, unless you use a color scheme that goes good with white or tan windows, you're out of luck.-yb
