Source control, ventilation, and filtration are the keys to healthy indoor air quality. Dehumidification is important too.

artworks,
curious on your thoughts of it versus azek
First time I have used a pvc product, not alot used around here & not usually stocked yet, lumber dealer mentioned it when I needed to buildout inside of windows 4 3/8" . I installed Jelwed with a 3/4 return , alot cheaper than custom 6 3/4 jamb. ( $1.95 / ft ) The only thing was "saw dust" clings to everything. I think I will use it for brickmold on a couple of PVC window box units I have around for my sons porch were building.
I use it for exterior window trims, corner boards and other trim on fiber cement siding jobs, even occasionally for window jamb interior extensions (smooth side showing). I like it quite well. On window trims I join pieces with a 3/8 x 1/8" slot cutter and splines that I slice off a piece of scrap w/ clear pvc cement. Works well. I usually nail it in place w/ galv 16 ga. gun nails and fill the holes but I have screwed it on with ss trimheads a couple of times.
Don't leave the protective film on too long after it's installed - it gets brittle and hard to peel off when it's been in the sun for a while.
I pay a bit less for it than for Azek in 3/4 thicknesses. Full inch thick (sold as 5/4) is about the same as Azek.
