I am getting ready to be an Owner Builder and I am seriously considering panelizing. I live in New Jersey. I would appreciate any information on this process. I have seen a sample on Modulex-International of Canada website. Has anybody heard of them. Their products are featured on Home Builders Network. Please advise if any one on this forum has used them or any panelized company with good reputation.

We frame about 100,000 sq feet a year pannel. It can be a savings it can be a money and time saver. It can work in reverse to. We are actullaly the only North American supplier of Fennel prouducts, Panneled walls. Straight floors and roof trusses. My house is pannlized and I run a construction company for 10 years now.I have had no problems. If you want more info write back I try and help any way I can.
I am in the planning stage right now and any good information will be very highly appreciated. I am just doing research right now. I want to be able to pick the right panel manufacturer that will have little or no problems. I am highly considering the versailles model from Modulex-International(http://www.modulex-international) I am still open to other reputable companies that can be recommended. I will be building in the central New Jersey area.
Does Fennel have a website where I can gather some information?
Im sure they do I 'll have to look it up. I spoke with the saleman that would handle your house if you went with them, he told me at this time their shipping only to michigan and ohio. There are a lot of permits involved for a canadan co to come into the states. I think they are probly out of the running for you that being the case. Now if you want and are still intrested I can call the owner of fennel truss and speak with him directlly about it . A little pressure from higher above might get some where.Let me know
I would appreciate it. The rep for Modulex hasn't mentioned the Canadian shipping problem to us yet. I would love to speak to the Fennel rep. email me at [email protected].
Oh, have the Fennel sales guy take a look at the modulex site and checkout the versailles. That's definitely the house we want to build.
