i've only used it in one bath. suppose to take the place of green board.the surface is a little rough, showed through the first coat of paint,2nd it was fine. i itched from this stuff as bad as if i was inulating attic on a 100 degree day,it has lots of fiberglass in it. i won't use it anywhere but a bathroom because of the itch. larry
