Can cement parging material be applied to a concrete block wall using a sprayer with hopper similiar to the type used for spraying stucco or textured ceilings? I’ve got about 120 feet of wall about 7 feet high to do and as an amateur troweling seems a daunting task. Also can someone supply a recipe for a high strength parge and is the fiberslas mesh a good idea? Thanks

It can be done that way but it will end up being more work. The troweling will actually go faster than a hopper gun, especially after you've done a few feet and have the hang of it. Look at it this way, by foot #100, you'll be pretty darn good at it! Or, at least get a quote on having a pro do it. It might cost less than you think.
(Now if you want speed, go the shotcrete route, but you probably don't have the equipment on site.)
