On another thread, I was commenting on the great design Basco shower doors have in packaging small parts and fasteners in with their door and enclosure products.
All are blisterpacked to a long strip, are easily taken off the strip, and are used in the sequence they are mounted to the strip. Cool. If step one requires two #3 widgets, and step 14 requires three more #3 widgets, the #3 widgets are blisterpacked that way, two up front and three later, in the installation step sequence.
As for installation instructions, I like a company that shows right in the instructions a 1x sized drawing of any fasteners that are included with the product and used for installation. Makes it easy to validate you are using the right screw, if different sizes are in play.
The 1x graphics for fasteners and small parts is something I first saw when putting together RC model cars back in the 80s, and we put it into play when I worked at ThermaTru Doors when doing field installation sheets and shop manual pages.
