I have been using mine for 2 years, no complaints.
I have the PC pancake and bought it originally as the brad nailer/ compressor combo -- got stolen so repaced the pancake with the same. I must like it.
I even use that little pancake for framing -- probably shorten its life but it's still going after several years so whatever. My only complaint is the compressor is really LOUD.
The 18ga. brad nailer that came with the combo is my most used nailer. It will only shoot 1 1/4" brads but so far I've not had a need for longer brads. When need to shoot more than 1 1/4" I break out the seldom used finish nailer.
