I know we have been here before but i have a question on PDA’s. I am looking at getting my first so I was wondering what you guys look for in one. Camera, Spreadsheets, typing on word, email. I am new to the land of PDA’s and want to have a good expierience with them. What brands are better whos battery lasts longer.
Thank you for yor support

I have an older Ipaq, which I like very much, with a Navman GPS added. There are tons of PDA review websites but some things to consider outside of battery life are memory capacity and operating system which will determine what software is available, as well as what programs on your main PC you can interface with. Also remember that more functions such as camera, means that in the event it's damaged or stolen you are without all those tools unlike carrying a small digital camera which will also have much better image quality and can often be imported via the flash card slot into your PDA. I'm a fan of the Ipaqs, the newer ones have beautiful displays and my battery life has been perfectly adequate. Almost all PDAs have handwriting recognition software that makes simple word docs very easy. Hope that's a help.

I have a three year old HP PDA, which I love. I can write and edit Microsoft Word and Excel files, and swap them back and forth with my PC. The address book and calendar link well with Outlook.
Call it a palm pilot though...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming.... WOW!!! What a Ride!
Yea, that's similar to my old system, 'cept I had a pencil. Got lead poisoning, and had to upgrade.
