I had Pergo flooring installed on my main floor with the exception of two rooms. The two rooms that I’m going to finish have carpeting and I’m concerned that there will be a significant difference between the existing Pergo flooring and the sub-floor below the carpet.
Any advice on how to compensate for the height difference?
Thank you.

If you've already gone with the Pergo, you might as well go with the Pergo transitions as well.
Here's a link to an example.

You can also get transitions made of real wood at most decent lumber yards.
Out of curiosity, what sold you on the Pergo?

Thank you for your response. I choose pergo because it was less expensive than real hardwood, and a friends personal experience.
Thanks.
