I am a custom builder/remodeler in central Vermont, and I am
currently
planning a project that is the restoration of a 100 year old Victorian
summer home on Lake George NY.
The project will require three sets of custom french doors, 4 custom
picture
windows and the removable sash for a three season porch. All will
require
float glass and true divided lite sash.
Any good sources?

Given your post, it sounds like you are probably prepared for the cost. Woodstone is in your back yard. Among other things, they make their own double-glazing so they can have 7/8" muntins and double-glass individual lights (the only ones, I think). Cost is roughly 2x to 2.5x Marvin (yeah, I know).
PS - I'd be very surprised if your french doors didn't require
i tempered
not float glass

*Ditto on the tempered glass requirement.
*And don't forget tempered in regular windows if they are next to the doors or less than 2 feet from the floor. What's the code in your area??
*You will want the tempered glass without the etched in mark ( the "bug" ) on each of the lights. Be sure you get tempered glass without the bug, and save every piece of paper in the chain so you can convince the local inspector the doors pass code.If you bevel the glass in the doors it will double the cost of the glass but is very Victorian.
