Hello all, working on a new project house (freddie Mac). Baseboard hot water heat. Plumbing system was winterized in Feb of last year so as you might expect there are quite a few leaks. It is all in 3/4 copper now. What are the opinions of using oxygen barrier pex in place of the copper. I have been using quite a bit of pex in the past for potable water with good results.
Any favorite brands? I currently have the tools for 1/2 and 3/4 crimp fittings so would prefer to stay with those if all else is equal.
Thanks, Gary

Funny how they use the term "winterized" to mean "turned the heat off and let everything freeze".
Pex was used for hydronic heat applications long before domestic plumbing, so no worries there.
I use Uponor brand pex AKA Wirsbo, but since you already have the tools for the other I see no need to switch.
