Using zurn pex for water supply in new construction, upstate NY.
Do you need to use a bushing on wall and plate holes? Using a manifold system, 1/2″ homeruns from the basement to 2nd floor. Sounds like the tubing expands and contracts quite a bit, didn’t know if rubbing at studs will hurt anything.
Love the stuff so far. Thanks. Andy

You don't need bushings in holes drilled through wood.

Drill a hole about twice the size of the tubing.
Ditto what the others said - our inspectors make us foam any holes between floors, so that should create a "bushing" in effect. Use the copper stub outs for terminations...love that pex!
Just using "great stuff" foam? I thought that might do a good job.
Thats all the inspector requires, great stuff.
