I am interested in finding out what software is being used by individuals that really get into this form of processing their digital and scanned photos. Above and beyond the standard editing that one finds on the software that comes with a scanner or digital camera like; brightness, contrast, depth of color, and sharpness, what benefits would I derive from a different software package? I don’t assume that we are talking about Adobe Photoshop either($600.00). Inform me please. GW
