Hey All, Would like input for the most used pins for the 23’s…..I’m going to be purchasing the MAX NF235A and wanted to ask what you all use the most. What I generally get into is cabinet installs and staingrade mouldings, crowns and the general all-around trimmings in large homes. This gun takes up to 1 3/8″, seems that at least 1 1/4″ and then one or two shorter lengths. I was installing stained oak base shoe this week with “chopped” 22 1/2 degree outside corners (rounded edge drywall corners), and I wanted to have one of these guns SO bad. Even had to run 1/2-3/4″ lengths inside and outside pieces on a couple of cabinets that were installed and were tight to the back wall and that raised the front up off the tiles, and they had plan-on columbs, so I shoed the whole thing and had to glue these little pieces into place. Did the whole rest of the house on all hardwood areas and this one cabinet shoed entirely got the compliments….sort of made me smile that that’s what caught owner’s attention…..not any of the rest of the shoe, LOL.

Mostly I use 1" for fastening miters, small trim.
5/8" for fastening panels, mini trim.
I find it hard to imagine running out of the 3 boxes of 10,000 pins I purchased 4 yrs ago.

Thanks......Was thinking that 1 1/4-1 3/8" might be handy for locking (without the 18ga. holes) base and crowns....and heard it asked before, but does the headless pin hold well in these applications, crossed. I'd be gluing, of course.
Then, I guess 1's and probably some 5/8"....appreciate your thoughts.
Yea, it's like those 23ga. 3/16" crown staples that Senco has...there are so many you feel the box will wearout before you use them all up...and that's in their smaller boxes of late, they used to only sell these huge boxes, like $45 for the old box of 5/8"...20,000 of em' I think it was.
Senco sells a package of assorted sizes. That's what I bought. I figure whichever size I run out of first is the one I use the most!
