I just installed 3/4 oak plank flooring ( not tounge and groove) I left roughly 1/8 inch spacing between planks for expansion. My house is old so spacing seemed appropiate. Is there something I can put in spacing to prevent the build-up of dirt? I have heard of saw dust used with some sort adhevise. Any suggestions ?

If I were you, I'd leave the gaps, because expansion and contraction will soon enough loosen whatever infill. Adhesive based saw dust mix is a pain to apply into hundreds of feet groves, and messy as hell. Plus, if you use something such as an epoxy filler, you will totally defeat the purpose of the expansion gap. I don't really know why you didn't have the stuff tongued and grooved at the first place, and why you would have to have such a wide expansion gap. As I see it, just put the shop vac to it, you might even enjoy sucking them grooves with that nozzle.
