My forty-year old house has all of its walls plastered over dry wall (button board?) except one side of one wall. This 15 foot long wall only has poorly taped dry wall covered with a number of layers of paint. Does anyone have any suggestions for plastering the wall so it matches all of the other walls in house? What type of preparation is necessary? Or is it easier to put up fresh dry wall?
