My last post concerned holding baseboard above sub floor for carpet. Concusses was that 3/8″ above floor was fine. What I forgot to ask was if baseboard is held 3/8″ above sub floor for carpet, what about plinth block? Should plinth sit on floor, or be held 3/8″ above also?

Yes, hold the plinths up as well.

Thanks for the input. Holding the plinth 3/8" makes sense, as you can tuck carpet under also. Guess it makes for a cleaner carpet install this way.
