Hi Guys,
Anyone have any experience with the PLS 360 Laser? It’s the laser that shoots a continous 360 degree line. Not a rotating laser, though.
Was thinking of getting one and thought I’d ask you guys for your opinions.
Thanks.

I havn't used it, but I like the fact that it is not rotating. also it's accuracy is spec'd at 1/8" over 100' which is pretty good for a laser.
what do you plan to use it for? inside use I guess as you said PLS 360 without the "E" . I'd look at the 360 E. so you have greater options.
one thing lacking though is no plumb lines or square lines. but again, I'm not sure what your planned use is.
PS here is link to a review I just wrote that may help you in you search for a laser.

The PlS2E is actually accurate within 1/8" at 30", and 1/4" at 100".
Not a lot of difference and still plenty good enough, Just wanted to clarify.
I was going by what I found on net. you have found different?

Nope, My mistake, I looked at the 2E mentioned in another post, not the 360E.
... sorry
Gonna use it for suspended ceiling mostly. I'd rather have the 360e like you say, but the laser is the same. The 360e comes with the detector.
I thought I'd start out with the laser and maybe get the detector later. It would definetely be nice to be able to use it outside.
Call up PLS, I'm thinking there's a decent savings if the detector is purchased in the kit rather than separately.A great place for Information, Comraderie, and a sucker punch.

make sure that the PLS360 also meant for bad weather...."rain"
if you want that is.
Excellent choice
I have the PLS 2E Palm Laser. Self level, horizontal, plumb, both at the same time if you want, or a fixed line (non level). a sensor that shows line even when you can't see it (like in sunlight), a very bright line that doesn't go quite 360 deg, I think it's around 280 or something, doesn't matter Mountable to a tripod, comes with various clamps & brackets , magnetic etc to mount to wall.
I advise you to buy the "E" version, the one with the sensor.
Do yourself a favor and get it. Mine is only a few months old and it's already paid for itself. My set of Johnson levels are starting to collect dust.
