Just received a new PLS5x (cool tool!), but I have a stabila adjustable tripod. Unfortunately, the PLS does not fit on the tripod mounting bolt. Anyone know of any adapters? Or any good jury-rigging suggestions?

Camera tripod works on my PLS 2.
Call a transit/laser supplier, I would think they have a stud/nut combo for turning over the normal transit stand to the smaller size.

The thread on the bottom of my PLS5x is a standard 1/4" thread that's in the bottom of 99% of cameras. I use mine on a Bogen photo tripod. Is the Stabila thread metric, or is it 3/8"?
