I hope someone has found a good solution to how to plug holes in brick. A search for earlier threads turned up nothing.
Client has removed a mantel from brick fireplace, leaving four very visible 1/2″ holes in faces of bricks. How can I patch the holes such that they are not so noticeable? My plug cutter is great for oak, but I don’t think it will work on brick 🙂
Thanks in advance.

Drill a few holes in a similar brick, collect the brick dust, and mix it in with a little mortar.
