Need help with a plumbing problem. I don’t get the cyclone action when I flush the toilet. I removed the toilet and verified no blockage in the soil pipe. The toilet did flush properly before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

That action is usually a product of the small holes under the rim. Either they have partially plugged (calcium buildup probably) or not getting the full flow from tank when flushing. It could be that the flapper is falling closed before it dumps the correct amount. There have been several discussions on how to clean here in past six months.
I have poured lime away, clr, white vinegar, Bam and other cleaners (not at the same time) down the standpipe in the tank. That puts it directly to the holes and does not dilute it or risk the components in the tank. I have heard of folks taping them first.

Is it the rim hole or the jet in the bottom that causes enough motion to start the swirling.Maybe he lives on the equator!
Would a toilet even work , right on the equator?
inquiring minds want to know
Rim holes are to scour sides
Bottom jet floods trap to create a syphon so the bowl gets sucked down
Water moving down drain will swirl clockwise when there is enough flow
& it doesn't matter where you are on the planet.
Got kids?
Something could be in the toilet itself.
If you allready put the toilet back & it still does the same thing.------- Dump a bucket of water in the bowl if it goes down & siphons correctly then it could be the ports in the toilet clogged.
White vinegar & clr does wonders to clean ports in the bowl.
I had this problem once in my own house. My one son, then about 2 at the time, used to suck on lollipops. At some point in time one of the lollipop sticks got flushed down the toilet. It lodged SQUARELY across the porcelain hole leading into the PVC drain. I tried an auger, I tried everything to unclog the toilet. Little did I know that the auger and snake went right past the stick since it was so small. A Plunger didnt work as the stick was sprung across the opening. Finally I determined to unseat the toilet and there it was, one small lollipop stick. Who'd have thunk something that small would be enough to prevent a propre flush. Once removed, toilet was like new again.
