I am trying to plumb in a new shower I recently installed during a remodel, and can’t figure out the best way to get 2″ ABS through the center of six 2 X 8 joists, 16″ on center. The ABS doesn’t bend enough without some persuasion. I have considered borrowing a heat box from the electrician or just renting a heat gun to help shove it into place. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is a useless and stupid response.

straight holes are neither stupid or useless.

Jeff,
I think he meant that after drilling the holes he couldn't get an 8 foot piece of ABS through them because of the clearance issues. The only thing I can think of is using shorter pieces with couplings.
