80s era Delta single handle tub/shower faucet with push botton diverter. No water from the shower head! Went to the local Lowes & gota replacement Delta RP5649 Diverter & the 27/32″ wrench to replace. Ez swap out.
Fix did little to improve water flow from shower head. Am I missing something? Or should I do like the Pros & just replace the Tub Spout with one of the built in diverters?

Is the shower head plugged up? They will sometimes get filled up with sediment or calcium deposits. Try removing the head and checking the flow out of the open pipe.
pull the shower head and then try...

Will pull the old shower head & report back!
Shower head seems fine, think were going to change out the tub spout. With the diverter built in to the spout & see what happens.
